Who Let the Costume out of the Bag?
Friday, September 30th        9:00a-3:00p         Ages 10 to 15
 Participants will receive a bag of "garment goodies" (odd pieces of costumes, clothing and decorations) from which they will create a costume of their own design. Award winning costume designer, Anna Pfeil, will be on hand to offer guidance and assistance. Then, members of SLU's APO, Alpha Psi Omega National Theater Honor Society, will  will work with the participants and their design to develop character traits that will be brought to life in an improvisational skit. Participants will perform improvised skit at the end of the day for parental attendance. So, bring your ideas and bring a friend for a day of costuming fun just in time for Halloween! You may also bring any costume parts or pieces you are working on or would like to incorporate into your design. No acting or sewing experience necessary. A healthy lunch is included. Bring a snack and water. 
Cost is $32.00 for 1st child in family, $15.00 each additional child. 
Tee shirts $10.


Double Shot of Drama-An Evening of Play Reading
Sunday, October 23           6:00pm        Ages 16 and up
A Street Car Named Desire
The first in our play reading series! Chad Winters, SLU theater faculty member, will conduct a play reading of the script. 
Your are asked to bring your own copy. If you need a copy or, are planning to attend, please contact Mr. Winters at chad.winters@selu.edu. Limited copies available.

-Make Up workshop coming in October to help complete your costume look!

-Act like a Teen! One Friday each month from 7-11pm ages 13-17 will gather at The Studio for Improv fun and Theater games. Pizza will be served. Cost $25 first child, $10 for second in family. 

-Troupe de Tour! Opportunities to perform at Nursing Homes, Children's Hospital, fairs and festivals will be offered for ages 12 and up who join our Commedia team. Year round. 
Cost $125 plus some travel expenses. Enrollment is limited.

-Camp ACTion! is our summer camp/production. Spend two weeks with an experienced, talented crew creating a full stage production. 
Cost $325. Snacks and tee shirt included.

Let's Play! Series-

-Our Let's Play series will also begin in October and continue through May. One Saturday each month at The Studio. 

-Each session will focus on a different Storybook or Movie theme and. through games and activities,  participants will improvise dialog, create costumes and props, and learn to use the body for character building. A short skit of their own creation will be presented a the end of each session. 

9:00a-12:00p
-Ages 7-95
-$20.00 1st child; $10 each additional sibling.
-We'll be creating skits and characters based on these two classic stories! Fun and sorcery for all!
-Themed snack will be served
-Limited to 15 participants. Must have a minimum of 5.
